Our A La Carte Menu is available for both Lunch (12 noon to 3pm) and Dinner (6pm to 10pm)
Our new Terrace Brunch Menu is available in the Terrace from 10am through to 8pm in the evening, and combines a refreshing choice of light meals. The Terrace is children and dog friendly.
Afternoon Tea is available in the Main Restaurant or the Terrace from 3pm to 6pm
We also offer a selection of homemade ice creams available in cones to takeaway or to eat in the Terrace or garden areas.
PLEASE NOTE:
Following our having to close temporarily for corporate restructuring we are awaiting a new license which for statutory reasons will take 28 days. We are expecting this in mid-May to be reaffirmed.
In the meantime we are unable to serve alcohol, but customers are welcome to "bring their own bottle"
Using only the finest ingredients, many sourced locally; the Fisherman’s Lodge continues its tradition for seafood but also has a focus on representing Modern British cuisine at its best.
Our new Head Chef, Daniel Jolley, is one of the region’s brightest newcomers with a passion for fine dining and honed his talent at an early age at Michelin Star rated Northcote Manor in Lancashire. Daniel’s new menus combine a vibrant mix of seafood and contemporary dishes, using entirely local produce. We can name the exact farm in the North-East from which we procure our meat. Meat for which the Northumbrian is famous. Our fish and seasonal vegetables are delivered daily, and are amongst the freshest in the UK. Much of our approach is to combine the contemporary with the traditional. We like our customer to have choice, and that this choice is prepared in the most superb fashion.
