THE BEAUTIFUL JESMOND DENE
FROM THE NORTH
From the Central Motorway A167(M) take the A1058 signposted Jesmond/Tynemouth.
Follow this road until a set of traffic lights just before a road tunnel is reached.
Turn left at these lights. Then take the second right (Benton Bank) after a row of shops. Go down the hill until you get to a small t-junction, Go left into Jesmond Dene (you should also see signs for Fisherman's Lodge) along a narrow road. Follow the road past Millfield House on your right and keep going for a further 500 metres, almost to the end of the road where you will see the entrance to the Fisherman's Lodge car park to the right.
FROM THE SOUTH
Come across the Tyne Bridge (A167). After the bridge come off at the slip road signposted A1058 Jesmond/Tynemouth.
Then follow the directions above.
From the Coast and Tyne Tunnel Coming along the A1058 going towards Newcastle.
