Our people

OUR PEOPLE

It’s a sign of a happy establishment when staff have been there a long time. Three members of the team have clocked up over 50 years service between them and offer the ultimate in experience and professionalism.

The Fisherman’s Lodge has an all round talented team. Steve Brumwell, House Manager, runs a smooth operation alongside expert sommelier, Leo Battaglia. They are supported by Cat Mann our experienced Event Manager.

They boast an unusual array of talents, as Steve was made national cocktail making champion in 2006, and apart from Leo’s excellent knowledge of fine wine, he has forged a reputation for his expertise in specialist cheeses.

This talent extends to the kitchen, where Alan is supported by an expert artisan baker, Murray Rhind who compliments the team as a skilled pastry chef and also produces the finest home-baked artisan breads for the restaurant.
